Lil Wayne almost got a chance to test his fighting skills against a world class boxer Saturday, May 3, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The Young Money CEO walked Floyd Mayweather Jr. into the ring before his bout with Marcos Maidana. After the match was over he came face to face with Maidana and his camp as they headed to their dressing room
Hostile words were exchanged between them. Wayne can be heard yelling "let's go" repeatedly as he was being restrained. Things got close to becoming really ugly, but luckily the fight after the big fight didn't go down. Peep the footage below.

The near fight apparently started after Wayne was hit with a water bottle by someone from Maidana's camp. The rapper believed the bottle thrower was the fighter's trainer, Robert Garcia, which sparked the confrontation.
