Beanie Sigel has finally been released from the hospital after spending a month there recovering from a gunshot wound suffered on December 5, outside of his Pleasantville, New Jersey home.
Reports of the incident are sketchy. Sigel was reportedly returning home after dropping his kids off at school when he observed a fight. At some point the rapper was shot in the stomach. The bullet exited his back.
The former Roc-A-Fella Records artist is not believed to have been the intended target. The shooter has not been caught, but several suspects are being looked at, including Sigel's sister-in-law.
Doctors were unable to save one of the State Property boss' lungs. Upon his release from the hospital he was taken to Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation in Pomona, New Jersey. He'll spend the next three months there learning how to live with one lung, according to TMZ.
