The accused killer of Brick Squad Monopoly rapper Slim Dunkin has been denied bond.

Vinson Hardimon aka Young Vito, will remain in Atlanta's Fulton County Jail on murder and gun possession charges following a court appearance Tuesday (January 10).

Detective David Quinn told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he's gotten witnesses to come forward in the case.

I put up the testimony of two witnesses,” he said, referring to Tuesday's hearing. Quinn added that Young Vito left behind evidence at the scene of the crime.

His laptop was left behind with his name on it,” Quinn said. “And his name was on the dry-erase board as next up to rap.

Police say the 28-year-old shot and killed 24-year-old Dunkin, real name Mario Hamilton, on Dec. 16 at an Atlanta recording studio during a fight that started over a piece of candy.

According to AJC, Vito has been arrested at least four times since 2004 on charges ranging from aggravated assault, cruelty to children and gun offenses.
