Charlamagne Tha God has handed out his "Donkey of the Day" award to a 40-year old Houston woman named Yasmine Eleby.
Eleby reportedly made a promise to herself that if a man hadn't walked her down the aisle by her 40th birthday, she would marry herself.
According to Forward Times, the beautiful candlelight ceremony at the Houston Museum of African American Culture (HMAAC) on Saturday, January 3, 2014.
You can't legally marry yourself in America or anywhere else in the word, but Yasmine's sister, who is a minister helped her with her vows, her three sisters were bridesmaids and her mom gave her away... to herself.
I guess the moral of the story is if nobody else will love you, love yourself.
