Saigon Says Hip Hop Needs Reality Check "The Last Artist That Was In That Void Talking To The Community Was 50 Cent. He's The Last Person To String A Chord In People's Hearts"[Video]

Video After The Jump Saigon has been in the industry grinding for a minute now. A lot of mc's have come and gone, but Sai's still here doing his thing. He recently sat down with Hard Knock TV to talk about what the game is missing, young artists that he's feeling and the Joe Budden beef. The Yardfather says that there hasn't been an artist since 50 Cent that has made music speaking directly to the community. "There's a big void that's empty in hip hop. The last artist that was in that void, talking to the community was 50 Cent really. What he had to say wasn't the most positive stuff, but he reacted. 50 had every black neighborhood going crazy in 2003-2004. He's the last person, besides DMX to string a chord in people's hearts.
