Rihanna just released a music video for "Bitch Better Have My Money." In it we find out that the "bitch" she's referring to is her former accountant.
It's been well documented that Riri was allegedly robbed of millions due to mismanagement by Berdon LLP. Her anger is still at it's boiling point.
The Wall Street Journal reported on the story in 2012.
“Between 2005 and 2010, Tourihanna suffered significant financial losses due to Defendants’ financial mismanagement and other acts and omissions,” the lawsuit states. Tourihanna was the concert touring company established by Berdon on Rihanna’s behalf, according to the suit.
Rihanna put her trust and financial well being into the hands of the company when she entered the music business at the age of 16.
“In 2005, when Fenty was 16 years old, Berdon was hired to provide her with accounting, business and financial management services for all aspects of her rapidly growing music career,” the lawsuit states. “Because she was a minor with no knowledge of the music industry or financial matters generally, Fenty placed Berdon in a position of trust and loyalty.”
