Rick Ross is currently hospitalized in serious condition after being found unresponsive in his Miami home Thursday, March 1, at 3:30 a.m.
TMZ reports that a 911 call was placed saying someone was in distress, breathing heavy and unresponsive. The caller added that the person had a history of seizures and was "slobbering at the mouth."
When law enforcement arrived the person awakened and became aggressive.
A family member strongly denied Rick was hospitalized, but TMZ's sources confirm that the 42-year old rapper, born William Roberts II, is being treated at a local hospital for a respiratory illness, possibly pneumonia.
A source close to Ross says the ailment is heart related. The Maybach Music Group CEO, previously suffered two seizures in 2011.
