A Grammy Award-winning producer who has crafted hits for Beyonce, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Akon and more has filed a lawsuit against Drake, accusing the rapper of orchestrating a physical assault that resulted in his jaw being broken.
Detail, real name Noel Fisher, says that in 2014 Drake offered him a job to produce solely for him. The offer was declined because Detail preferred to be able to work with more than one artist.
According to the lawsuit, Drake wasn't happy about being rejected
In June of the same year the producer was invited to the "Hotline Bling" hit maker's Calabasas, California home to work on new music. When he arrived he says Drizzy's bodyguard, Chubbs, allegedly punched him in the face.
"I will beat all your asses, including your bitches. I don't give a fuck," Chubbs said during the beating, according to TMZ. "I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake's a punk?"
The producer believes Drake, real name Aubrey Drake Graham, set him up. He's asking the court to award him unspecified damages.
