Martin Shkreli wants Kanye West's new album "The Life of Pablo" all to himself.

The controversial pharmaceutical executive, who coughed up $2 million for Wu Tang Clan's "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin" disc, claims he has made West a $10 million offer for "T.L.O.P."

Shkreli posted a letter detailing his supposed offer on Twitter and claims that the powers that be at Def Jam must present it to their Board of Directors, which would delay the album's release by several days.

G.O.O.D. Music's CEO debuted the album at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, February 11. It was streamed live on TIDAL and in a number of cinemas worldwide.

Fans anxious to buy a copy are expecting it to be released today.

Stream rips of songs from the debut have already started to hit the internet. If by some miracle Shkreli actually acquires the exclusive rights to "The Life of Pablo" he would indeed have the only CDQ version of it, but not the only copy.

Frankly, I don't see West seriously entertaining this offer even if it's legit. His ego won't allow him to. He makes music so it can be consumed and enjoyed by the masses because that's what he loves to do.

Selling an album that he's worked incredibly hard on to Shkreli, who has been charged with securities fraud conspiracy, securities fraud and wire fraud conspiracy, and could spend up to 20 years in prison if convicted, seems incredibly far fetched.
