Khloe Kardashian and French Montana have split up, according to US Weekly and TMZ.
The break up comes eight months after the two started dating. Both are still married and apparently Khloe is not over her estranged husband Lamar Odom, who she filed for divorce from in December.
"The relationship got too heavy and Khloe needed to take a step back." a source told US. "It grated on her that he became so dependent on her,"
French was also described as "needy." Khloe's mother and stepfather, Kris and Bruce Jenner, as well as her sister Kim Kardashian-West thought the rapper was using the relationship for fame.
TMZ reports that the relationship went too far, too fast for Khloe to handle. The two will remain friends, but that's all.
