We've seen new rappers seemingly come out of nowhere in the past couple of years to become overnight stars. Bobby Shmurda and Trinidad James come to mind immediately.

Next up could be Slim Jesus?

Heavy.com reports that the 18-year old is from Ohio. His music video for "Drill Time" borrows heavily from Chicago's Drill music scene with it's violent lyrics and imagery. It's racked up over 580,000 views since it's August 18th release.

A disclaimer points out that the weapons in the video are just props and should not be confused with real guns.

Social media doesn't seem to know what to make of the young rapper. Some question whether or not he should be taken seriously.
