DMX could be facing more than four decades in prison after being charged with 14 counts of tax evasion.
TMZ reports that the 46-year old rapper, born Earl Simmons, turned himself in Thursday, July 13.
X is accused of hiding income by using the bank accounts of others and living mostly off of cash. In 2011 and 2012 the "Party Up" hit maker listed his income as "unknown," even though he reportedly made $353,000 and $542,000.
He reported income of $10,000 in 2013, but according to the feds he raked in $250,000.
DMX's total IRS debt is listed at $1.7 million, dating back to the 2000's.
